SSWAC WATER FUN DAY MAY 2017

Several of our Scouts travelled down to Godalming for a day full of fun activities on the water.—the highlight as ever was the cardboard boat challenge at the end of the day.  Checkout the Flickr page for more photos:

CUB SURVIVAL CAMP MARCH 2017

At our campsite, we started setting up our five tents in our five groups (I’m with Sam and Nate). Once we had set up our tents, Akela went through the rules then we get free time before lunch and then we would get our lunch and eat it. On Saturday night, we drank hot chocolate and sang campfire songs then we had in fun eating cake.  On Sunday it was my birthday, the cubs sang to me and we had cake at breakfast time after our bacon and sausages. I really enjoyed my first time at Cub Camp. I am excited about going again soon.  Report by Luke F, Cub

Beaver Fun Day was fun because we got to do all sorts of things. I found five animals in the ball pit. The sieving was really fun because I got lots of treasure. I liked the water rocket. Mine went far because it had lots of water in it. The train rides were really cool. The magic man was great because I love magic."  - Emily T, Beaver Scout

STREET KIDS BEAVER SLEEPOVER 30th JUNE 2017

On Friday I went on a Beaver sleepover.  We made houses out of cardboard boxes and then later on we cooked some toasties over a fire.  It was delicious!  At night we had hot chocolate with marshmallows and listened to James and the Giant Peach.  For breakfast I had coco pops and had a delicious sausage sandwich.  Then we went to the park and played a game.  It was my first Beaver sleepover and I thought it was brilliant and I enjoyed it 100 percent!
