FAMILY CAMP

17th-18th SEPTEMBER 2016

Our 10th Annual Family Camp was a resounding success giving parents and siblings the opportunity to get a taster of Scout Camp.  Families enjoyed participating in a wide range of activities including shooting, archery, backwoods cooking, slippery bungee, water rockets and a fantastic assault course which challenged both young and old alike!  During the camp the annual Firebird Challenge was judged.  This year the challenge was to make a rocket to send Action Man into the skies!  Well done to winners:  Beaver: Luke W,  Cub: Jonathan, Scout: Stephen, Sibling Becky  A lot of creative effort went into the design of the rockets and they were very impressive  as they launched into the skies.
